• Four-time recipient of the Philip R. and Eleanor C. Prutzman Blue Band Scholarship.

• Recipient of the Ned C. and Janette M. Deihl Blue Band Scholarship.

• Four-time recipient of the Helen Reber Hilton Scholarship.

• Music Section Leader of the Penn State Blue Band Trumpets for two seasons, working extensively in music sectionals and along staff members.

• Volunteer involved with Good Will Fire Company No. 4 in Pottsville, PA, since 2007, serving as Webmaster and Volunteer Firefighter.

• Past Editor-In-Chief of the Production staff of the award winning Tide Lines newspaper of Pottsville Area High School. Was a Pennsylvania School Press Association Bronze award winner for computer-design work for Tide Lines.
