Instrumental Performance

• Four Year member of Penn State Marching Blue Band, serving as section leader for two seasons.

• Two Year member of Penn State Symphonic Band, two years in Symphonic Wind Ensemble, the premier concert band at Penn State.

• Four Year member of Penn State Outer, Inner, and Centre Dimensions, the premier jazz ensemble of Penn State.

• Winner of Jury Honors for Spring 2016, for my performance of Rhapsodie pour Trompette by Eugene Bozza.

• Fifteen years of musical lessons and training, including trumpet, piano, and voice.

• Active trumpet player in Cressona Band, Pottsville Third Brigade Band, Coal Forged Brass Quintet, M&J Big Band, and M&J Jazz Combo.  Also served as Associate Conductor for Jr. Cressona Band from 2016-2018.  Associate Conductor for Cressona Band 2022-Present.

• Bandleader for M&J Big Band of Pottsville since 2011.  Duties include leading and organizing a twenty-piece jazz band of college-aged students, booking jobs, securing rehearsal space and maintaining relationships with various community groups for summer and holiday concerts and dances.

• Active church musician for various churches and groups around Schuylkill County, PA.

• Trumpet student of former Baltimore Symphony trumpeter Dr. Langston J. Fitzgerald III for four years.
